Need seo Expert, all other don't respond. Seriously!

I have a website with several #1 rankings, however we have a few important key phrases that we have not been able to get over the #3-5 positions. We are currently working with a top notch SEO company but they keep raising our rates claiming they need to purchase more high ranking links, and we still are not seeing any more movement. So maybe it is time to find someone else.

That said, we are only looking for a company or individual that can prove they have what it takes! In return we will expect you to provide us with previous work reference (including website, which specific key phrases, and contact references so we can confirm indeed you were the person that worked the magic, and we will check). That is a lot of information to give to some random person, just because he asks for it. Just my two pennies..

It sounds like your top notch SEO company might know what they are talking about. Link buying can get expensive fast, and depending on what niche you are in it might be next to impossible to hit #1 without a budget fit for a Saudi prince. Those last few positions can be the toughest, and sometimes the fruits of your labor can trail weeks to months behind your efforts.

If you really understand Google's algorithm, then you can evaluate the difficulty of making a website rank in the first places for a specific phrase, and with this I mean "exactly" what it needs to be done.
If your top notch SEO company can't do it, then their branding is good but the "top notch" is bull.
