Just need some recommendations on how to get to the top of the search engines with current events method using googletrendz (QUICKLY). Im using a wordpress blog. Gonna try some poll marketing.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO TO GET LISTED FAST AND BE ON THE FIRST PAGE?

I have done some research but I would like to know what you sneaky bast@rds would do lol.

    Thanks in advance

What I would do is use the search button and figure out what other sneaky bastards would do!! but if i couldnt figure out how to do that i would create a link wheel or post ads on cl that are related to your niche, or even create some articles and link them back to your website and submit the articles to different websites.

A while ago I was actually raking in $100 a day using the Google trends method for a news site. Getting about 30,000 uniques per day, constant crawling by G.

I had started the site 1 year prior to it taking off. During that period, I had built 2000 or so backlinks to the home domain. It was just as though the site passed some sort of milestone and gained trust-rank, and suddenly I could expect traffic from a new post in an hour or less. However, it might have been the backlinks maturing.

One day I woke up to find all the traffic gone. I suspect a manual review. I learned my lesson.

I'm currently running several clones of this site in the hope that I can speed up reaching the "trust threshold" by using superior backlinks in greater number.

But I do believe that if you want to rank for an event fast without the proper network in place, it will be very hard work so you should ask yourself whether it's worth the effort to try and rush it.

... As Micallef said, if you want to do it .. do some efforts.

To use this method your site needs to be updated with the new events, you need more time,"more follow-up" to trends, top news websites... you'll need to add unique related content and posting everytime ... work hard and be patient, you need to let SEs (especially Google) trust you :)

Try bookmarking your site some where like Jumptags, Digg, or Propeller.

Digg is a shit. After digging my site gone from goole 1st page to 2000. I could not find a way to restore my rankings. Once i removed my bookmarking from digg, my site came again in the top pages.

    Digg.com is a big shit
