NEED review About originality.ai

one of my clients required that I check the work through Originality. After writing something from scratch, I got an unacceptable result: 51% original /49% AI. The client accused me of fraud because of this result.

I told them it must be a mistake, so I made some changes and ran it through again - 85% human/15% AI, which was passable to them.

What changes did I make? I changed no words or structure whatsoever. All I did was get rid of a few commas and hyphens that should technically be there, which bumped the score up 35%. This means straight-up that the algorithm is NOT as advanced as the site claims. It's not detecting machine-generated writing patterns in a nuanced sense. It's just programmed to detect a really obvious truth: that error-free writing has a 50% chance of being AI-generated while writing with errors is 100% human. Duh.
