Need recommendations for top notch host

Hey guys, I'm fed up with Hostgator, they just shut down all my websites that I host with them again. I have a plan for unlimited domains/bandwidth and just got this:

"I apologize, but I was forced to suspend the script /home1/xpand/public_html/ as it was causing a high load on the server, and due to it affecting all of the other accounts on the system, I was forced to take immediate action for the health of the server.

Unfortunately I do not have any specific recommendations for this script."

Some more blabber and list of recent site requests and running processes (index.php's of sites). I had around 15k visitors per day and they can't handle it obviously, and the ticket before that was because I installed few plugins and themes one after the other and it was overloading their servers, what a crap of a company.

I've also tried Godaddy and few others but don't like it. Need some recommendations for top notch host that won't give any problems regardless of traffic volume and shutting down your websites every 10 days.

Surprising! I've been hosting on Hostgator from last couple of years. There wasn't any problems with bandwidth and no abrupt suspensions.

I think bluehost and hostmonster are the two alternatives for Hostgator.

Hostgator is cheaper, not sure about their service. you can try dreamhost, there is a coupon code(60DIS1Y) you can save $60

Are you using shared hosting? or do you have a VPS or Dedicated server?

If you are on shared...what do you expect? Upgrade and the problem will be solved, you are probably just being cheap. Pay for the resources you are using.

No hosting company will allow you to abuse there resources for < $10/month. Get a VPS for about $50/month and you should have the resources you will need.

I had the same problem with hostgator and since then, I've never used them again.

Along the way, I tried several hostings and the best have been these:

Shared:

- StableHost

Reselling:
- HawkHost

VPS:
- FlipperHost

LegitXXX says all the right things.
Unfortunately to many people think that they can run a popular website on a shared plan.
I would personally never use any kind of shared hosting like Hostgator or whatever.

Get yourself a VPS.
I can definitely recommend you DigitalOcean!

I had similar issues with Hostgator and hence I have recently switched to Host-Stage. Their support is top notch and they are available everytime on Skype to help whenever I need them. Their pricing is pretty affordable as well, hence I would suggest you to have a look at them. And if you are confused which plan to choose, add them on Skype and they would suggest you which would be the best for your website as well.

Dedicated server all the way ! Never trust shared or vps, you get what you pay for!
Unlimited shared is marketing trick nothing more or less!

You're like me. My site was suspended by HostGator due to high server load and it's like they didn't care about me. I know a few good hosts, but there are two I've had no issues with.

- HawkHost
- InterServer

Both amazing hosts and I doubt you'll have any problems with them.

go for VPS you will be happy for sure.
