Need recomendations for good dedi server providers

Currently with 100tb, man they are really starting to piss me off with downtimes and bad support. Don't get me wrong, i like their servers and the speed they generally get theyre also on softlayer network which is quality, but i think its time to move on from them.


Does anybody have any recommendations for solid dedicated server providers all around?

If you don't mind paying for quality, I'd go with handsonwebhosting . Their support is lightning fast (<20 minutes to solve an issue) and the prices aren't too bad compared to places like rackspace. Also it's worth noting that they don't like spammy or adult things, so if you're wanting to run scrapebox/zennoposter/email spam dont use them.
 
I Know everyone might shoot me down, but 1and1 are very good for dedi's. I know their standard hosting support is crap but their dedi support team a very good and are able to sort out highly technical issues (back when a plesk update broke everything last year, they were able to fix my server to a working state even after I had fucked around with it).

Also there reliability is excellent. I have had my oldest server for almost two years and it has only gone down once - a few weeks ago for about 30 minutes. No other performance or bandwidth issues at all:)

I only trust GVO for all my hosting needs. I can hook you up with a good deal on a dedi
 
I use Woo Servers and Gigenet.

I have one for Gigenet too, but I don't want to sound like I am selling, so Ill just say its gigenet.com

Both are solid companies, good support, both Black Hat App friendly. By that I mean Woo Servers actively promotes using their servers for scrapebox, tweet attacks etc... and they sell proxies, but they don't allow Xrumer.

Gigenet is clueless but I have multiple servers with them going on nearly a year now and I hammer Sbox and other tools like there is no tomorrow and as long as you use proxies and they don't get complaints they don't care. I would guess Xrumer would be fine there as well, so long as you used proxies, but Xrumer is better without proxies so I just host it elsewhere.
 
I use Kimsufi.ie and pay $55 for Intel i5 (4x2.66GHz), 16GB DDR3, 2TB SATA2, 100mb connection with unlimited traffic.

(Unlimited means anything over 20TB of data, they will throttle the speed to 10mb. until A.) the next billing cycle or B.) you buy more bandwidth at something cheap like $2/TB.)

They have higher packages, but you get them through OVH.ie, you can get Gbps connections, 10Gbps connections, more memory, more CPUs, etc. etc. Their prices are rock bottom, though.

Been using Scrapebox and XRumer on their servers for over a year with no complaints. Setup is free, but if you're American you have to prove your identity by way of Drivers License and utility bill.. Both matching the address/name on the account. Low resolution, fuzzy pictures are all they need, so this part is no sweat.

It's also a little tricky to get Windows installed, you need to use a Dell OEM 2008R2 key, put that into your account manager under Windows Licenses and that will enable the Windows Server 2008R2 option for your operating systems.
 
I would go with any server from softlayer, liquidweb or serverpronto.
 
I would prefer woo servers as compared to others. Like the speed and also the support side.
 
I am in the same boat as I just tried aliasserver and not good so far. It has been 30 hours and still no support. Not a great way to start off business relationship. So, I am subscribing to this thread as well :)
 
I always prefer Hostgator for hosting but i am not sure if it can satisfy your needs or not. may be you can ask them. they usually gives good discount also

Lots of different providers.. I will always stick with OVH/Kimsufi, though. The price is unbeatable and the packages are competitive. $55/mo for a 100mbps off-shore Windows server that I run Scrapebox, XRumer, SENuke, Power Suite, Market Samurai, Traffic Travis and now ProxyFire on all day long. No contract either, all month to month. Contracts get cheaper prices, but I couldn't drop a lump payment into something as volatile as a black hat SEO server.
 
Softlayer and Rackspace, if you can pay a premium price for quality support.
 
Rackspace support sucks. I've received better support from an unlimited $2/month provider than that overpriced cr*p. 1 week to get a response which was "Did you restart the server?" That was $350/month.
