need Proxy Business help

To begin with, I understand that some of the people in here are unable to share methods and such which I totally understand but if you are willing to help it will be appreciated.

So, I’ve been thinking about starting a proxy business for quite some time now. I’ve done some readings and purchased some eBooks. I myself find it hard to look for this information online, Maybe I don’t know how to look properly. I know my market and where to sell but I am having troubles finding out on how to start it. Here’s how I think I can start, so please correct me if I am wrong.

Proxy Reselling? (Kind of Familiar)
VPS Proxy Server and Making your own proxies? (Not Familiar at All)
IP Leasing? (Unsure to where to lease them)

Am I on the right track? Are these ways to start a proxy business?
In case you were wondering where and what types of proxies I am looking for I am looking for data center dedicated proxies. These proxies would then be use by customers on Shopify sites to purchase stuff like Funko or Limited-Edition Posters.

If anyone is here that has some tips, links or where I can or read more information, or maybe if you’re even a provider and is willing to help me out. It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you, for taking your time to read this.

This is the only part of your post that I can speak to with some intelligence. But not that much!

Data center proxies come from remote servers / VPNs sold by Amazon / Microsoft / Google / Vultur / etc. This morning I wrote a post about this.

The concept works below:

* Get an account on Amazon AWS
* Go to EC2 and get a Linux Remote Server
* Turn that remote server into a proxy
* Charge people to connect to that proxy.

That last part generally involved creating another tunnel to go from your proxy selling service (with a username / password bypass) to the Amazon AWS instance. Of all of the proxy businesses you could set up, I would think this is one of the easier ways to do it.

But because this is so easy, this space is fairly saturated and thus there's most of the proxy sellers are really good marketers. That might be the hardest part of your business.

Forgot to mention this but yeah I am very familiar with this method. Like you said this method is pretty saturated. I have tried it but problem is that proxies are sometimes already banned or slow down during a drop. Thanks for the input tho. I really appreciate it.

If they're already banned it's because they are data center proxies, not necessarily because they were tried and got banned. But using scripts you can refresh the IP addresses on those AWS instances.

You might also consider starting a residential / phone proxy business, but I think that's probably tougher.
