Need paypal help for a friend

One of my friends has gotten their paypal on hold for 180 days, What can they do to reinstate it or get U.S. paypal account so it wont happen again?

Usually when this happens paypal will ask for a list of things they need to unlimit the account. Try providing those things.

also this can happen with a US paypal account too, has nothing to do with your country really, and everything to do with your friend's activities being seen as risky business for paypal.

The person got the money as a gift,and they said it was fraud,and it was a business account not a personal one.

yes accepting payment as gifts to avoid fees is a great way to piss off a company that makes its money from those very fees.

it depends if your talking about the account being "limited" or the account literally being closed, and after 180 days they get the money back. From what you've said it sounds like they've already said she'll be waiting 180 days.


Limited can be overcome. The 180 day wait cannot.
