Need PageSpeed Insight solutions Wordpress

Hello experts,

Well i am facing slow speed issue in my website my score is 42/100

Can you guys please suggest solution for these issues:

1. Leverage browser caching
2. Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
3. Enable compression
4. Minify CSS

Saw few videos related to Leverage browser caching and made editing in .htaccess file and suddenly got 500 error in my website So basically i don't wanna go through with random youtube stuff.

I trust this place much more, so posting my problem here. And saw few negative comments regarding css minifying like it may impact our website design. So i am quite afraid of doing this, so please guys give me genuine advice in this matter.

Some of these will need to be done on the host side. Which is probably the cause of the slow down in the first place.

By chance are you loading any outside content?

Have a good look/read at what every thing does. Don’t go mad and tick every box, and then post that your site is borked.
