    Hey guys!

So hopefully sometime next year, or in the next 2 years I hope to launch an offline business.
I've been doing nothing but reading ebooks, threads, guides, information, and all that good shit about ORM,
Local SEO, Social Media Management, and Email Marketing. I plan on offering all of these along with Website
    Design & Management as well.

I was tempted to not post this plan/strategy of mine, given that I kept modifying it. But I figured I'd modify it
once more even after I ask for opinions.

Bear with me, its a lengthy post. But I'm looking for any and all opinions, suggestions, and feedback that I can get.

I still have some practice to do, and more reading. But I'm fairly certain that by next year I'll have all the knowledge
and skills needed to get started. Just a matter of when I finish my other income sources. But this is what I got so
far as a plan of attack, from everything I've read.

So without further delay, here's my business strategy/plan. (Copy and pasted from my Word Document)

      • Make Contacts To Keep In Touch With at Business Meetings For Advice and Opportunities Down The Road
      • Practice Cold Calling Friends and Maybe Random Participants To Improve Myself
      • Setup Home Office or Rent An Office Once I?m Ready To Get Shit Going
      • Read Some Business Books, Improve Business Vocabulary, and all that good jazz. (I have a good sized wishlist)
    • Obtaining Clients
      • Sending Out Letters via 7878?s Method With My Own Twist & Follow Up Calls
If the business calls you, but they decline, let them know about a referral program you have to potentially have them work for you.

      • Using Their Service, Thank The Manager Directly, & Convince Them To Sign Up
Going to a restaurant, having a really nice meal. Ask to speak to the manager, thank them for the wonderful service, and tell them you were going to show your friends the restaurant and noticed your reputation. Introduce yourself, give a brief explanation of how you can help them and leave them your card. Say you?ll be back for another meal and have them call you, or you call them for a follow up.
      • Business Meetings.
Talk to Random people, be friendly and kind, see what their industry is, etc. Check out their website, reputation, all that. Let them know you can help. If they decline, let them know about your commission program for referral signup.
      • Have Friends Work For Me.
Talk to my old highschool friends, ask them if they want to make a few hundred a month, explain to them the situation, and teach them how to find clients. Then let them work for me and wait for the phone calls.
      • Read Through The Phonebook.
Looks for businesses that are listed in the phone book, especially the ones that buy ads. Then check out their online presence.
      • Visit Local Businesses.
Have a walk downtown in my area and just check out local businesses, note down the names and go on from there. Maybe have a walk inside as well and check things out.

      • Meetup.com
Check out different group meetups every month, and do the same thing there, that would be done at business meetings. (Theres an internet marketing group in my hometown lol)

That's all I got planned out for now. Showed this to my friend, he says its good. But I like having multiple opinions.
For anyone else whos planning on starting their own offline business, feel free to use any of this for your own ideas or whatever :)
Just trying to plan out how I should do everything, and I'm sure most business do most to all of this already.

I plan on outsourcing most of the work, while doing some myself. So yea.
Hit me up with them opinions, suggestions, and feedback!

    • Thanks Thanks x 3

Looks good, very organized, and much more complex than my style. If you do all the things you stated you should be fine, where is your local market if you don't mind me asking?

Looks good OP. Your brand and website is important though i am sure you can set something nice up (pm if you'd like to see mine). The more you know on what you are selling
the better you will be able to sell it. So learn as much as you can, but don't wait forever. Things change quick though local offline marketing (even online) will be here here
for a long time as businesses will always need customers.

Wish best of luck to you and your offline business :)

Keep us updated, you will be a successful person if you keep working as planned. Try classifieds and PPC too, could be a great way to obtain clients.

This is very well detailed and will turn out to be very successful if you follow through. I know you will because I came across your clickbank thread and saw how dedicated you are in achieving your goals.

May I ask why you are not starting now? You could start small, from my experience it is always good to start when you still have that fire burning like it seems you do now.

I am going to be doing the ''wasted'' method for web-redesign.
I wish you the very best! Good luck!

    Thanks.
Hopefully sometime next year, or in the year after that.
As for finishing, well, once I'm making $10K a month in recurring income then I can classify my business as successful, or finished :)

$10K a month may seem like a lot. But i dont think it'll be hard to manage 10 clients that pay me $1K a month.
Or if i make somewhere around that amount, then thats good enough for me haha.

Haha thanks man, I appreciate that :)
No luck with a job yet, but I'm gonna update my journey with some stats on the keywords and some recent news in a minute.

I'm not starting now, because I still got a bit more reading to do, then organizing everything, memorizing facts, making the website, and other small business essentials as well. I'm sure once I get myself a job and have progress going with clickbank, I'll probably start my offline business along with my PBN at the same time.

You seem to have the initial plan down. You might want to specialize in 3 verticals of your own choice ie real estate, law, construction or education, publishing and travel just to spearhead into the growth

I actually have a list of about 40 businesses I can start contacting when I'm ready. :D
    Different industries, niches, etc.
Some of them the same, but its at least 10+ different industries I'm sure.

Was never really intimidated by trying to target multiple niches.
Heck, I don't even see why not!

Ah yea, was thinking about SMS Marketing tbh.
Not many people talk about it.
But damn near everyone is on their phone, so its pretty effective in my opinion.

Its on my list of possible services. Will put Graphic Design down there as well. Thanks man :)

There is plenty of service to offer definitely not wise to limit to only a couple though you can just offer what you do best, or your outsourcers do best. I believe keeping your clients satisfied is best, when they
are paying you upwards of $1k/m it is wise to keep them profitable and happy. I'm going into the Solar Panel/Solar Energy niche with a company that pays a good commission per new install and they offer
free installs as well and handle the Sales processes etc, i simply have to give them the leads contact info etc. Only 16 states are available in the program, with only the bigger cities usually being in the service area.

The market is quite vast and very interesting, will update on how this goes, possibly make a thread about it after some time. Hitting one state for now to test the waters in this newer, but fast growing niche. My WP skills have gone pliable! So i am taking the time to get the website looking real nice. Keep us updated on your progress man.

    Cheers

Just the fact that you have taken the time to create a plan AND seek critique makes me believe that you will be successful in your venture. As for the plan, it seems extremely well thought out and organized. You have a nice mix of services that will attract a wide variety of clientele. Plus, you have room to grow and change markets if you want to.

    Please keep us posted :).

    You look very organized.

I too would start small - do some side work now and build a portfolio, it does help. Good luck
