I'd have to say you can always go through social media networks and advertise there... The prices are a bit overpriced unless you know where to go.
Advertising on specific websites might be a bit more lucrative as there is usually no limit on growth & can be a tool once you get the hang of things.
There's loads of creative ways to get this working, but by all means try your best at specifics and you'll be good to go.
Some networks that let bulk sites jump in can easily be found by looking straight at the ads and reverse engineering the sources to acquire the ad placements you'd like best.

Google and Facebook are still biggest sources for mobile traffic and still work the best with mobile offers.
