Free ones aren't really worth the time, they aren't updated regulary so Instagram will have an easy time banning you.
Right now there are 3 major Instagram bots: Massplanner, Followliker and Instagress. Instagress and Massplanner have a free trial, use that if you really don't want to pay.

I've used both Instagress and MassPlanner and both started out with their free trials. That's where I'd urge you to start with. I used to use Instagress only until MassPlanner now I stopped using them and only use MassPlanner now. I don't know what your finances are but you should budget at least $20/monthly for MP plus maybe $10/monthly for proxies to start out. It's worth it. I mainly use MP for Facebook but manage 5 IG accounts with it as well. I currently run 100 FB accounts, 5 IG, and 3 twitter accounts with MP. That's how valuable their program is.

Since you run that number of fb account on MP, can you please tell me if you have a tip for posting to groups on a regular basis, without having fb asking for ID check every time ?
