need i phpbb3 expert who can restore database

Hi im looking for an phpbb3 expert that ca restore my database, i have a sql backup, but the backup was on a old phpbb3 version 3.0.14 and when im installing a new forum (version 3.16) and upload the SQL backup, it wont work!

anyone who can fix this and not the expensive maybe you can get a free link from my site in the bottom in the footer? my site is from 2007 and is PR 2

try to restore/install using the old version, then do upgrade after that.

Hello, First restore your old backup after that upgrade your board. Don't upload phpbb3 upgraded version and restore old data with it...it will not work.

very strange that phpbb not backward compatible , especially just same one version
why don't you sold the forum ?
