Need honest job advice

Guys, there are a lot of people here that know a lot about work and money. I'm in a situation in which I don't know what to do.

I'm a software developer. I had 2 FTE jobs that was not demanding and I enjoy them and didn't have to spend whole day on them. In IT there is a little bit of crisis now. Thus, I'm left with only 1.5 FTE. Still pretty good money. I can afford all the expenses and save some money or even go for a short abroad trip every month. Definitely far from being rich.

There is a chance that I will end with only 1 FTE because the half is not stable. My main job is rock solid and I'm safe here.

I received an offer for a second FTE in a company. The only thing that motivates me is money. The job is not interesting. I'm stressed that I will be overwhelmed and overworked. The good points is that the job is remote, so I can probably keep my main job and also work on this new one. I'm scared that this is like my last chance to set up a situation to have two remote, contract jobs and earn good. Inside, I'm afraid of the stress and amount of work. I don't want to be low achiever but I'm content with my life. My current job is mostly calm and I know my duties. I feel content. I try to set up some business with my friend but it will take at least one year to be ready. I earn more than average in my country but can't afford a big house or Porsche. The new job will give me +100% to my salary. I don't know if I should accept it or no. It's constantly on my mind. I need your honest and serious advice.

Do you have peace of mind when you think about taking the job?

When you narrow the job with the thought it's the only opportunity I've got (which is myopic) versus believing there are 100s of amazing offers to our can't see cos you've fixed your eyes in this one girl at the party and have cornered her thinking no one else is there for you except her not knowing you've unconsciously turned your back to the entire room at the party (just to have context)

Hope it helps, and no one knows your capacity than you do. Money as a motivator is rewarding but draining the too so you decide the drain and reward ratio.

The wealthy people I know don't just have one job, they have multiple jobs and different sources of income. The difference between them and others is that in the same amount of time, they generate significantly more income.

Go for it, until you finally tired of it ,then you can leave
