    I can't seem to install any Plug-ins today, first I downloaded one online then, after I installed I got an error- Plug-ins not found, Then after manually extracting the file and then compressing the plug-in files I keep getting this error- The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    Every Plug-in I install keep getting this error. Help Appreciated :)

    I think it would be better to point out it was a Wordpress website :)

    This error appears when you have a corrupted archive file or another extension than .zip

    First of all check those;

    1-) Is your plugin's extension .zip?
    2-) If it it .zip, double check if it is corrupted.
    3-) If first two are fine (which i doubt), then you should manually upload the plugin.

    To manually upload the plugin;
    1-) Login to your FTP
    2-) Browse to wp-content/plugins folder
    3-) Open zip file on your computer
    4-) Drag the folder from Winzip/Winrar to your wp-content/plugins folder.
    5-) Browse to your Plugins section in your Wordpress admin
    6-) Hover on your new Plugin and click install and then activate it.

    I hope this helps.

    Try re-installing wordpress and make sure that your plugin is a zip file. U might be trying to extract the plugin from zip file and uploading it.
    This will give error.

    I think you are not uploading the plugin files in right way. Upload them in zip format.
