Need help with starting my own website

Hello everyone,

I am new to this site. I need some help.
I would like to start my own website/blog, I always wanted to have my own website where I would publish my articles.
The problem is that I do not know anything about how to make a website, I do not know anything about IT, programming, I have iPad, no computer. I found some sites, where I can buy a damain and hosting but I do not know how to proceed after I buy this.
Also, I need to have my website completely anonymous, I do not want anyone to find out that I am the owner of the website and I do not want anyone to know which location I am from, what is my IP address and etc. I found sites, where they advertise that the hosting and domain will be anonymous, but I do not know if it is reliable.
Could you please recommend me, where I could register my website so that I can edit it on my iPad, without knowing programming and it would be anonymous?

Advertise on BHW
Best bet is to go to GoDaddy, purchase WHOIS Guard for your domain name and use their website builder. You should then have a proper website going and it’s completely anonymous to the public!
 
Not a fan of GoDaddy myself so, for the website part, Wix, Squarespace, wordpress.com, or google 'website builder'. As for domain, that is where the privacy issues come from, as Woot mentioned above you need to buy whois guard but you can get it from any place that sells domains. The "tricky" part is connecting your domain to the website builder of choice.

What you can do is first get the domain and make sure you also buy AND activate Whois guard then when you go to open an account for 'x' site builder of choice. They usually ask if you already have a domain so you choose that and follow the instructions they give you to get them connected.
 
Godaddy is overpriced and WHOIS guard should be added as default. This is why godaddy is so stupid. And for the websitebuilder you have to pay aswell. Just use wordpress or something else instead for CMS. and use either namecheap for domain. After who-is to keep your IP safe use cloudflare.

What I need is something like this, according to what they advertise I would have the privacy, which I want.
They said that I will be able to edit the website using wordpress. I do not know what is wordpress, do I need to know any programming language to use it?
 
a IPad isn't a good device to build a website from scratch and if you want to stay invisible as possible you should look for an offshore hosting plan (just google it). If you havn't any coding skills I recommend a wordpress blog with a solid theme and if you like it more customizable then a theme which included a simple pagebuilder.
you can find many helpful tutorials on youtube (how to install wordpress, how to install a theme etc.)

to stay anonym I would also recommend a vpn
 
Yes, I am planning to use VPN. And I am interested in offshore hosting plan. I am worried that someone would sue me if I publish some kind of information on the website and I need to be completely protected against this. However, I have no knowledge about IT. Is it possible to hire someone, who would make me a website like this? So that I do not have to make the website myself.

If you don't have the skills and don't have the time & passion to learn it, then I would highly recommend to collaborate with someone from the security sector.
I'm curious in what country your living?

If anyone knows how to make a completely anonymous website and would be able to create such website for me, please send me a message. I am from Europe but do not like to provide information where exactly.
 
I'm from europe to... sorry when I break with your imaginations. But to stay anonym is like a skill, not done by making a bulletproof website (which also is very naiv)
It's not enough, not at all. If you use a Ipad, you can forget the whole anonym thing.

I actually have no Idea from who or from what you are hiding, but all your online activities leave footprints
you need a device like a laptop or PC and use it for only that specific reason.
I recommend a Linux OS, never use Windows or Mac's!
Encryption everywhere... gpg for mail, hdd encryption
Your VPN also should be well chosen... offshore, with no logs and only trust openVPN protocols... and how do you paid for it?
TOR or TAILS could be the right decision

Fortunately, I am currently not hiding from anyone. I am just very, very careful. Also, I am pretty good at staying anonymous.
I have been selling on Amazon and eBay since I was 12 and have lots of experience. I would like to make a blog/website where I would write about selling on these sites, but I do not want them to be able to link me to my seller accounts, if you understand what I mean.
Where did you learn such things?
 
Sounds good! Working on a new website atm too. What kinda stuff will you be selling. Maybe we could partner up work together? That way we can both learn and earn. Quite curious to your ideas though. Let me know about it. I got some experience with site's, you with selling. Maybe combining would be smart. Anyhow, best of luck!
 
OK easy...

first I thought you want to start a investigative journalism blog and you try to be save from .gov LOL :D

then you only need a few things, most already posted.
a hosting plan and a domain with whois protection. and a virgin e-mail only used for your blog.
 
Do NOT go with godaddy, use either namecheap.com or namesilo.com (they are the 2 cheapest registrars anyway)
and both have free who is privacy protection.

Simple cheap hosting for one site, avoid eig group of companies, go with simple cheap namecheap or sitehost.com or bluehost.com or siteground.com
even you could try one of the simple hosting providers in BHW, check the hosting section of BHW, some good offers for you, with offshore capabilities.

Lots of youtube videos on how to set up wp sites, pick an easy theme and go for it.
 
I think with your case, you can go with Website builder with drag & drop tool such as one .com, wix .com, godaddy .com...When buying these services they will provide you all stuffs you need such as domain, website, hosting, privacy,...IMO
 
You should get a PO box, then you can just register everything with that address details in.
 
if you want to publish articles you have two options first design and develop website from company and other you can publish articles from blog websites
