Hi guys. Ive been building my second site the last 4 days. What im planning to do with it is instead of having a keyword in the domain name I want to have my own brand which I can build for many years. I have chosen a short catchy domain, and I'm planning to add a lot of useful and unique content (thousands of pages over time).
The inner pages will rank for single keyword phrases. However Ive no idea what SEO strategy to use in a site this big. Think a site 10-20% as big as about.com.
My original thinking was if I keep adding content over time google will trust me and rank my pages high automatically without backlinks. No idea if thats how it works..
Anyone got experience with a huge site? Most threads on here tell you to have keyword in domain.
