Hey guys, I am new to the "internet" in terms of SEOing and webmastering etc...
Anyway, I got a guy to design my site, it is SEO friendly.

Now I wanted to pay as cheap as possible price for an SEO service that will not damage my ranking, so nothing using any bots.. So no blackhat methods basically.
I am not sure where to go, and what to look for to buy?

Like, what kind of work will I get for 50$ a month? 100$ a month?

Also where can I find the cheapest people to do a quality job? On bhw or on freelancer? I am not sure.

Please point me in the right direction!

If you aim for cheapest package, what u expect in return?

You get what you pay for...

Invest a little more or find other ways to make money so you can reinvest.

No one is gonna give you manual whitehat seo for cheap... Takes time and effort.

Let me tell you from experience my friend. It used to be that a lot of sort of bad quality links would be helpful. But were at a point where good content plus good quality backlinks is the ticket. You don't need as many, but you need good quality. Those $5 packages are probably good for tier 2 links, but not your front line. I say this because I just ordered one, the links were garbage and my site lost rankings on every page. Go for the services that do all manual work and make sure there is some sort of drip feed system. You don't want a lot of links at once, huge red flag.

Don't go with cheap seo package, they will only damage your ranking, and am saying this from experience. If you don't have the cash to buy quality seo service, then you can do it manually.

Either buy from a reputed seller or do not buy at all. With the recent Google updates, the quality of links has assumed much more importance over quantity.

Go for quality with as much manual effort you can put.
Its best if you can do it yourself or hire experts. But one thing for sure, it won't come cheap

I am trying to rank on very low keywords, how much should I expect to pay per month?
I am thinking of the ladygaga google rider thing for 70$ a month 1, 90$ package for month 2, and 120$ package for month 3.
Would this help me start ranking?

Build some links manually first. This will help you understand exactly what SEO is and how it works. Track your rankings. This knowledge can then be used for all your future SEO/IM activities. The more you learn about it, the more you will get out of any service that you get. You will know exactly what is being offered, how and why it should or should not work, what the potential dangers are, etc. If you know enough, you can use Fiverr services to design your own campaigns, or at least outsource certain jobs for certain types of links there. But if you just blindly order services here, Fiverr, Freelancer, or anywhere else, chances are you'll walk away in disappointment. Knowledge is the key to success in this game friend.

Thanks, you are right. Where are the best comprehensive guides on SEO and backlink building? I've only read about on-page SEO

There's at least a dozen great guides ranging from manual Web 2.0 Creation to article marketing to bookmarking to setting up a private blog network all over this forum. Also check out "mathew woodward" he's a member here and has a great blog with full step by step video tutorials on Tiered Link Building. Between the threads in this forum and that blog you'll have all the ammo you need.

handmade, white hat seo, web 2.0, manual, are some of the buzz words you want.

it seams that you may want stay away from black hat stuff to be safe. automated and services that seem too good to be true.

Read the top trending posts under the white hat section. lots of great answers there.

LOL when I see clients like you I run in the opposite direction.
You will NEVER get quality at a cheap price.

doing keyword research, to all of you that are laughing at my price range.
I'm sorry but at my age, and no income coming in, I don't have that much money available to spend on SEO.

I am not planning a corporate website, it's a non-profit website for now, and will not have adverts on it or anything.
I will be getting visitors from youtube and wanted to do SEO to get visitors from search engines.

best way for you is to do it yourself. that way it is free. setup blogs on blogger, blog, tumblr, wordpress. make social network links google+, facebook, twitter, and so on. make comments in other peoples blogs with quality information and link to your site. It will take up a lot of time but you will be getting results. again fiverr also has some very cheap options if you know what you want. just don't buy automated links that will spam your site.
