Need help with SEO: any ebooks?

I just finished constructing my site and I kinda need help with the SEO part. What meta tags are useful these days, what should I do to make my site as readable as possible by search engines?

I just want stuff to do to my site to make it easily readable to search engines before I blast the shit out of it.

Check your website with this

If you see the text in there... then spiders will see that text.. so if it's ok, start 'blasting the shit out of it'
