Need help with Professional Email & SMTP

hello Everyone,
I need a professional email with the domain i bought with namesilo. I set it up for cpanel email but almost all of it is going to spam folder. Then I got mailgun account and routed it to forward to outlook account along with the SMTP outgoing on site. The problem with this approach is some of the emails are being suppressed and these emails are test emails that I am sending to check the emails. I have setup 5 - 6 emails like admin,support etc. @ domain.com but I dont want them to be suppressed and I want the setup to be as free as possible. I am creating an ecom website that have yet to generate any sales and I need professional emails to answer client queries. Can anybody chime in to let me know what you guys are doing or did in my scenario? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Use Mailgun for sending transactional emails such as emails triggered from signups, password resets, pretty much anything your web server will send. For work emails you can use g Suite or zoho . Zoho used to have a free plan but I’m not sure if they still do. Regardless of which you choose you will create [email protected] then email aliases/groups for admin@, sales@, [email protected] and make your email part of the group.

I would make the transactional sender email be “[email protected]” and don’t bother forwarding or expecting to reply from this email because that’s not it’s purpose. If you really want to you could set the reply-to address in your transactional emails to be an email group like admin@ so when somebody does reply it will go to you.

Is there any free alternative for work emails? almost all of them are paid.

Another question, when using subdomain, how do you set [email protected] because you verify subdomain like mg.domain.com, shouldnt it be [email protected]???

Yes, it can be [email protected]. I think Mailgun has a way to setup routes to handle responses but I’m not sure.

Email hosting is cheap, like $5 or $6 per month for an account. If you can’t afford that...

Hahahaa, I can afford that. Its just that I wanted to be in positive before spending additionally or atleast some sales. Anyway I am truly thankful for the help.
