Hello,

I need to change color with Hue/Saturation option, but as I see I can choose only those colors which PS are offer.

Is it possible to somehow insert your own colors?

Can you show us an example (just show us an example image and the example color you want to change it to)?

I don't find anything unusual in the screenshot. That's the HUE range you will have in any software for that matter. By the way, a better way to do this would be to use the "Camera Raw Filter" from Filter menu (it should pop up by default if you open a raw image).

Yes, choose the color you want to have in your toolbox as first selected color (blue in my screenshot). If you use the Hue/Saturation function (with ctrl+U) select 'Fill with color' and it's based on the color you want. Now you can play with the settings.

I usually select the area that i want to change colour and then press Cntrl+shift+A and changes the Hue and saturation in the color mixer tab

Basically what I need is to change colors of my products in PS. (We want to offer a various range of colors of our products to our clients but right now we are not able to make products with all those colors and take a photos so that's why I'm thinking to do it with PS)

Thats our product which color I need to change:

So right now I'm checking Youtube tutorials and I found this Hue/Saturation otpion to change the color but the problem is that I am not able to select my own color and I can choose only those color which PS are offering.

So I do not know maybe this option is not the best and maybe you can suggest any other options? Would be a great if you would be able to share any Youtube tutorial to do it, because I am noob with PS.

Select the area you like to change color (Make a new layer of it if possible) then go to 'Image' - 'Adjustments' - 'Replace Color'

Ahh I get it. You mean something like this, right (Sorry for the obvious crappy selection/color work. This is just a dummy to show you the alternate way)?

To achieve something like this, look for photo retouching tutorials on youtube by searching something like "turn black and white images to colour in photoshop".

The basic steps are:
1) add another layer on top of the image.
2) select the object (that's like 80% of the work) with lasso/quick mask/whatever.
3) fill the selection with the desired color, while you have the new layer selected.
4) Change the blending option for the layer on top, to something like multiply.. also play with the opacity and so on..

Hue, I believe is much more suited to changing overall hue of the image, and not a single object.
