Need help with paypal please.

It has been a while since I added a new credit card to this paypal account and since it was getting close to expiring I needed to add another one. Issue is with the new site and not the old classic I cannot find the place to ask it to send the code to the card to confirm it.

Also, when I go to withdraw to a checking account it now comes up with you need to verify by us sending you a text or automated phone call. When I put in my cell phone number it tells me the number does not match the name or address. Will this go away once I confirm the credit card?

A new phone number won't work. It has to be the original phone used to create the account. It's very important to always have an active phone number. If this is a real account, adding a landline phone that has your real information may work. Otherwise you'll have to wait it out and hope it goes away. If it doesn't, only Paypal support can fix it.

I think this is what I need. The card has not been verified so it is keeping me from withdrawing funds. Do you happen to have the link please?

Thank you. I read right passed this link.

I dont have the original phone so I am hoping it will go away once I confirm the new credit card.

Dont you have to have both a credit card and bank confirmed to withdraw? I was thinking you did. So this might be the reason.

Unfortunately it likely won't go away that easily, as this happens even on accounts that are 100% verified (phone, VCC, and VBA/bank).

You can withdraw without a VCC on file, but you'd only be able to withdraw $500 a month (unless it's a legit account and you add your SSN).

What bank are you trying to withdraw to? And do you also have a VBA on the account, or just the real bank?

Real bank BOA. No VBA, it expired is why I wanted to add a new one. I will try a vanilla visa and then see if I can find the link to get it to send me the code to confirm. Appears they have hidden this spot to send for the code.

Right, sometimes the link won't work if you already have confirmed a card. Try this one too: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_lift_my_withdrawal_limit&return_cmd=_show-limits

If it still doesn't work, you can just remove the old card, add a new one, and then try one of those links and it'll work then.

It's pretty rare that this happens when using a real bank like BOA, but yeah as you've seen it does happen. Normally I would say to not do this, but one thing to try is deleting cookies/internet history, and then basically starting over with building them - log in and out a few times a day (but don't do anything major like sending money without cookies). Do this for a few days and then try to withdraw a smaller amount. Make sure you fix the card problem first though. If it still won't budge, you can try to wait some additional time but that still may not fix it.

This security measure is particularly difficult to deal with if you don't have the original phone, so I wish you the best of luck.

Thank you. It has been this way for 2-3 weeks. Hoping adding a new card or confirming this one will work. Could not find the hidden place to send the code.

No I never said that. I bought accounts from her and she took my money and ran after buying from her for over a year.

I took out several very small amounts for the last 2 weeks and now just hit a large number and it worked.

This is the part when no one here can't help you out with this. The best possible option is to contact paypal. I personally loves the most contacting them on Facebook page. Support is way better than one from mail.
