Hello, so recently I got banned from Paypal for absolutely no reason and I need some advice. Now I called Paypal and spoke to a supervisor, but no luck. She said she can't do anything because of security reasons and what not. I believe that since I bought $500 worth of computer parts with my bank account, it must have triggered their security system. Should I keep calling back until I get lucky or should I take a different approach. I'm thinking if their was some sort online bank which I could hook up to my actual bank and use that. Basically I would use a pre paid credit card to verify Paypal then connect the fake bank account and then connect the real account. I really don't know what to do and I'm really frustrated because I have done nothing wrong. Would some like Payoneer (I'm from Canada) work I just really don't want to go through the nightmare of having my Paypal account limited again. Like I said it was really frustrating dealing with and I want to learn how to prevent it from happening again.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

You said permanent limitation but then when I read your post it seems like you are
over your limitation. What's going on?

I got permanently limited but I don't know why. Every time I call them they tell me a different story. Like one said I had too many credit cards attached, another just said because of fraudulent activity. Regarding the computer parts, I didn't use Paypal to buy the computer parts I used my bank account which was linked to Paypal. I then got an email saying there was unusual activity in my bank account.

    Thanks for your help.

It sounds like they've made a genuine error. They deal with so much blackhat though (heh) that the shields must be up all the way.

I would persist with it, maybe contact your bank and see if there's something that needs to be resolved with them.

Stress that nothing fraudulent has taken place and that they've made a genuine mistake.

It might be easiest to walk away from the account and forget about it, if that's an option.
