Need Help with my New Business Idea

Hi, I'm Andrea,
I have been working online for 10 years now and I am jumping into a new project but I need your help.

My father is an electrician and works for a company, the situation is not going very well, so I would like to create something for him.

The idea would be to create a site, optimize it, work on seo, make it rank on google with reviews, also I wanted to work with facebook ads. The problem is that I have never worked for physical business and I really have no idea how to do it; reading on the forum I saw that there are many possibilities.

I was wondering if there was anyone who could give me a guideline, even recommending services suitable for local businesses etc. found here in the forum

At the moment what I can tell you is that I have no budge limit.
I am open to ideas, advice and whatever else.

The only thing I know at the moment is that I need to buy a domain of the format "electrician + city " so as to facilitate SEO.

I just thought of this: How is your dad in front of a camera? Maybe he can start a YT channel about common fixes or what to watch out for when hiring an electrician. The content is endless; from that, you can steer people to his site, and he can get some work. Again, it's nothing overnight, but he could do well if he has some personality.

I know I have all the answers on google, but google is also writing crap, what I'm asking for is your advice regarding moves to make, if perhaps you have tried services here on BHF for your own projects and were comfortable with them, whether better to avoid something rather than some other. I thank you anyway for taking the time to respond

The best approach is to engage in organic marketing and utilize social media. Post a considerable amount of content regularly, and promote your services with humor. For instance, you could depict the consequences of not calling an electrician. I believe that strategy will be effective.

What an idea! That would be perfect, only as I said I don't think such a thing could be done with My father and besides I am not a "content creator" I do all the online part. I don't know how to record and ideate videos. I wanted the two to be detached, so I do all the SEO side management, ads etc and my dad does the "electrician" side. As I said, I don't have any budget problems

I mean, just record yourself, man. Use ChatGPT and even ask your father what could happen if someone doesn't call an electrician. You need to use humor in your videos to make your business blow up. So, thinking about content ideas and how to record and post everywhere is the only thing you need to focus on. I suggest starting with short-form content in the beginning. Maybe just invest in a mobile phone for a camera I mean movie camera quality isn't necessary for these kinds of videos. Your goal is to make people laugh and raise awareness about calling an electrician, just like your father, to help them.

Simple as possible, grab pencil, write ideas, write how you gonna do that like scenarios, start recording post it and be consistent.

If I were you, I GO WITH TALK TO PEOPLE IS MY STRATEGY.

Start with the design of a flyer about your service and go to home-to-home, poster it somewhere people can see.

Then have a landing page with your contact details at the top and show your past clients' reviews.

Offer discounts on regular maintenance packages, be nice to people, and always attend every call.

Ask people to review via video and give some discount if they do. Find value-added services with your core services, expand and talk to people...
