Need help with migrating a movie streaming site.

Hi guys! So basically I want to migrate my movie streaming site(wordpress) from site.me to site.ws but still using the same host. As I have been told it is nothing too complicated and can be done quite fast. So the first thing I have done is I bought a .ws domain and applied my hosts nameservers. So the question is what do I do after that ? As I understand the process goes like this: I ask my hosting service to add the .ws domain to my hosting acc, wait for the nameserver to go active for .ws, migrate the site with some wp plugin, ask my host service to make the .ws the primary one and thats it. Oh and the .ws is from a different registrar. Please help!

After you set up the neew site Just add a .htaccess like this at the root of the old site.

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^OLDDOMAIN\.com$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://NEWDOMAIN.com [R=301,L]

I often use the Duplicator plugin to move sites. There are tutorials on YT with full instructions. It's free, btw.

Do you want to change your domain?

Clone your files under a new addon domain , say moviesite.ws
Create a new database, and then import the old database to the new one.
change the wp-config.php file
Then use point the DNS or whatever,
upload and excecute https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases to change url's inside the database from .com to .ws. Ithat is old domain name to new domain name.
