Need Help with marketing my ecommerce website

Hi,

I'm looking at innovative ideas of marketing my ecommerce website. So far i have bulk email marketing and whatsapp marketing. Any guru's out there who can recommend something innovative. The good news is most of these things are not banned (im in the middle east) so i can really push the envelope. I'm looking for all kind of providers, ideas, suggestions etc.

Firstly, never use that 'gurus' word, its a disgrace.

Secondly, what are you selling on your e-commerce website? Failing to clarify that shows that you have a long way to go. When it comes to marketing, choosing your audience is key. You don't want to blog about high end fashion on a website that sells tank-tops for 15 year of pre-pubescent girls, for example.

That makes it a bit easier to give advice. Personally I wouldn't go for innovative. Do the same old stuff that is proven to work and when you have some cash to blow, start innovating. Nothing dies faster than a business that tries innovative marketing straight off the bat, if you get it wrong, that's it, all over.
 
thanks guys for the replies. Its not a startup, ie its been operational for a year. competing with the big boys, its impossible to gain as much traction. i'm looking for ideas to get useful traffic to the website which converts into sale (since we are in a third world country, everything is allowed) and i'm just looking for suggestions on what can members at BHW provide to improve relevant traffic.

There are Lots of Technique which Will Get You Great Ranking and Get You targeted Traffic and Sales On your website .
 
How does the whatsappp marketing work? I'm not sure about method and how can it make money. Remarketing list looks fine imo. Doing your typical SEO stuff or other marketing you build list to convert later.

whatsapp marketing works in a similar way to sms marketing - here you send out whatsapp to a database rather than sms.
 
apart from email marketing , having blogs and social media interaction and promotion goes a long way!

very targeted and interactive!
