Need help with Keyword Difficulty

Hello,
I am a newbie, and started a blog last month. I am getting little bit of traffic only mostly from social media.

My doubt is

When looking for new keywords, what is the optimal Keyword Difficulty % to look for ? I am still newbie and don't have backlinks. So please give some tips ...

Gauging a keyword's difficulty is something that comes over time.

No software can do what your brain can do.

I dont think i've ever used a software to figure out the competition for me, I just look at the link profile and on page SEO of the top ranking sites.

Post informative content, using google Adwords to choose low competition keywords

It depends on the software.

Software can be great for analyzing competition, but should only ever be regarded as a broad stroke, allowing for easier recognition of potentially-rewarding niches you can pursue.

I use SEMRush personally, and find it to be very advantageous. It isn't free though, and it's pretty expensive compared to some.

Keyword research is basically like the fuel for your car.

I will give you few basic tips:

1. Download Keyword Researcher Pro (here on the forums) and generate some longtail keywords for the niche that you target

2. Install Keywords Everywhere and import the generated keywords from Keyword Researcher Pro.

2.1 Export the keywords in excel file and filter them, so you see only the keywords with VOLUME above 1000

2.2 Gather the keywords that are related to your niche and are above 1000 searches/m and save them in a different excel file.

3. Check each keyword with the commands:

inanchor:"keyword 1"
intitle:"keyword1"
inanchor:"keyword 1" intitle:"keyword1"

... and get the results only under 1000 (don't use majestic for these statistics - they use their own crawlers)

4. Save the filtered keywords to a new CVS file and import it in MOZ

5. Check the competition for each keyword and decide if it's worth it to fight for #1

6. Generate related keywords to your main keywords from google/moz/other

Keyword Density for a page .. For a single page you must use 6 to 8 times .. It is very effective one .. and also choose competitive keyword and high search volume keywords
