Hi everyone,
I have an Instagram account with around 11.000 followers now, only for fun and private use.
Early stages I followed, unfollowed and liked manually and then I used the free Instaget Pro V1.1 Bot for a couple months.
But since a week I think they changed the API, I was able to follow about 180/h, now I can just like 60/h and get error 429 all the time.
So if I run the bot 24/7 that makes 720 to follow and 720 to unfollow a day, that is like nothing.
Is there a bot which can do better, like Megabot or sth?
I am a little confused in paying for bots, I am afraid I buy something and after a couple week I have to pay again.
Someone has good experience with any bot? I am thinking of buying Megabot now.

Greetings

Hey can I ask where you got your free bot? and does it do commenting? I would say try using commenting and liking to mix it up until you get it figured out.

A lot of people here dont think following is the way to go but I've gained quite a bit of follower by the follow/unfollow method. Nothing beats engagement though, so I would really lean on comments to mix it up. Then when you get the api figured out or find a new bot you can amp things up.

If you could hook me up with you bot I'm here to help too :)

From the docs:

Error 429: Returned in API v1.1 when a request cannot be served due to the application's rate limit having been exhausted for the resource.

If the limit is imposed by the API, no bot will be able to do better, unless it does not relay on the API.

Make 100 more accounts, 720 x 100 is 72000 that will do the trick

The bot does everything, follow, unfollow, like and comment, but it is an outdated version. Google it, or search on Youtube you should find it, I am not allowed to post links here.

The strange thing is that when I use the normal mobile Instagram App I can follow/unfollow 45 people/10min, makes 270/h, 6480/d.
The problem are webbrowsers like Iconosquare, Webstagram etc., I already saw some guys here solve the problem for their bots.

How can I get those followers from other accounts to my normal one? I created a new acc, shoutoutpage, but it seems so slow and uneffective, I gained like 10 followers and 60 likes on my main account with that.

How many people can I follow/unfollow per hour/day with it?
And isn't that bot using 3rd party websites also?
I am scared in paying and then getting the same error or such.

If you can provide me your skype I can assist you. I can't pm you due to not having 15 posts yet.

If you can only follow 60 people per hour manually what makes you think you can follow more with a bot?

Sorry you got me wrong.
With Instaget Pro (using 3rd party websites like Iconoqsquare, Pictacular, Webstagram, Followgram, Extragram...):
60-75 following/hour (when extending I get error 429)

With mobile app (manually following):
270 following/hour.

I read some threads here, where someone for example solved this error for his bot.
I want to know if Megabot for example did solve this too, I want a bot which is more effective than manual following.

I don't know of any way to bypass Instagram's API rules. When I use the API to like more than 30 photos in an hour that user will not be able to like anything for a while through the API but they are still able to using the phone APP.

If there is a way to by-pass the API's limits I would really be interested in hearing about it.

You can like/follow/... by using the 3rd party (official) api, which is very strict.
Bots that use the official api are sold in public.

And you can like/follow/upload/create accounts/... by using the inofficial mobile(phone) api which is less strict, but there are also limits.
Bots that use the inoffical api are sold private.
