Need help with HostGator

I just bought a domain and hosting from hostgator,installed a wordpress on it,but when I try to visit my site this appears
BUT when I visit my site with kproxy for example,I have no problem,it is live and everything.
Can anybody help me with this? What's the problem? I contacted support,but all they said was to clear cookies and cache,which I did but it's all the same on all browsers

Have you verify the card after registering a new hosting plan? If not, check your email and complete the verification process, I am sure that your site is currently suspended temporary.
 
it usually takes up to 48 hours for the website to display correctly worldwide, this is the time it takes for dns to flush and it's called dns propagation. Usually you'll be able to see in 10 hours even less sometimes
 
I contacted their support two times,first person told me to clear cookies,caches and all that stuff,it did not help
Second one told me that it was a thing called propagation and it would take 48 hours,so let's see how it goes

If he has registered the domain with Hostgator then there shouldn't be a problem with dns propogation as he is using their nameservers - usually it happens instantly but can take an hour or two at most.
I use a different host and registrar companies, but at my registrar I have my own nameservers set as the default nameservers for all new domains I register.
I can register a domain and then create an account on my server, throw up a demo site and it is live within minutes.

Nowadays dns propogation will only take up to 48 hours if you register a new domain and then create nameservers with that domain and start to use those nameservers for your domains instead of the hosts nameservers.

Sounds like the problem is that you need to clear your DNS resolver cache on windows (assuming you are on a windows o/s).
To do that you need to access the command console - usually pressing the windows key + X on your keyboard will pull the access menu up, and select Command Prompt
when the command console appears just type the following:
ipconfig /flushdns
then press enter on your keyboard
reboot your machine and see if that works.

I'd like to try this,but can't figure out how to acess the command console,the windows key+x does not do anything.I'm on xp sp3

Yeah,it appeared.I'll try this if I will not be able to acess website in 48 hours or so,maybe it's really just a propogation.
 
Flush your DNS.

Windows Key + R

Input this and press enter : ipconfig /flushdns

You will probably have it loading right from then on. Else, give it some time. The DNS need to be updated on all servers and everything will work as it should.

You should do the flush then. If you read my others posts, you will see that there should not be any time lag if you are on Hostgator's own servers for domain registration and hosting.
 
i have had the same problem before with hostgator, but dont remember how I got that fixed
 
Hostgator a pile of shit forget them and move on.

Everybody has problams

In the php worl of programming 80% of problams was hostgator.

Move on.

By the way I just did that DNS flush you've suggested and it worked,I can acess my website without a problem

HOSTGATOR SUPPORT IS ...

You did the flush .. yeah! ;) Glad to hear you've got it sorted.
