Need help with excel

Hello, I need help with excel. Can anyone tell me why when i try to clear my emails list(of unsubscribers) in excel file , let's say i want to remove ~200 unsubscribers from 60k list in excel, why does an excel gets stucked for like 5-10 minutes when im doing these functions with conditional formating, sorft & filter etc..?

Is it because it's problem with my computer or because i need to use another program/tool instead of excel for this task? Please, let me know, thanks!

yes , its the configuration (mostly the RAM) but u can use other tools if they can help you.
 
What's your computer specs? Sounds like low RAM or not powerful enough system
 
because is a lot of information that need to access and modify it, as you were mentioned previously excel is ram dependant, so if you have a low spec computer will take some time to modify all that info and in some scenarios will use cpu to process certain task, try to go cloud so your pc don't have to handle that task.
 
Do you see a message at that bottom that gives you an estimate of the processing time? It is usually in the bottom right...
 
- When your computer is underpowered, and has limited RAM and processing power, Excel may struggle to handle large datasets.
- Your computer's background processes can also slow Excel down. Delete unnecessary applications to free up system resources.
- You may experience delays when you are working on an Excel file that is stored on a network drive due to a slow network connection.
- Upgrade the latest version of Excel. Because the older versions of Excel may not be as optimized as newer versions for handling large datasets.
 
Thanks a lot for your help guys. Yes, I think the problem is with my computer. Can anyone tell me how can I filter and clear my data with my same computer, but without using excel(in any other way), so I'd not get the lags and I'd make the process instant then. Any ideas?

Someone mentioned cloud here, but how exactly does it work? Let me know, thanks!

Another alternative could be google sheets (Cloud). This could take the load of processing off your device. You can also consider filtering for other categories to reduce the size of the data that excel will work on. Another cause with the delay, is the count of the specific data which you are filtering for, it is very low when compared to the full data of 60K. This will make it more difficult for excel to filter which leads to more time and eventually more strain on the ram of your device. Google sheets could be an alternative you can try and it is free.
 
I think it's because of the RAM since the file size is too large. Maybe you should upgrade the RAM. Hope you well.
