Need help with domain change on hosted wordpress

Built the site and now I'm having trouble switching the domain. Is cloning it and putting it on the new domain the only option? I need to find away to keep the site right where it is. Had over 100 members sign up in less than 6 hours so I can't mess them up.

Need help ASAP

Depending on who you are hosting the site with. You should be able to open up a support ticket with them and ask them to update the domain name on your hosting account to your new one. Then once that is done you would go into the PHPmyadmin and update your domain name in the wp-options tab.

Once you do this you should be good to go

Thanks I did the steps but I did not speak with godaddy maybe that's the issue I'm having.

ended up getting it fixed up needed to link the domain with the hosting then sort out the back end. Thanks for the help guys!
