Need help with current situation with EBAY and PAYPAL

Hey BHW,
I used to have an eBay account that had real information (ie. my parent's name, address, phone number etc.) and I linked it to a verified PayPal account with my name (I'm underage so this is not allowed).

My PayPal account soon got limited after they found out that I couldn't provide the necessary information (since I'm underage).
Then my eBay account got limited after I sold it to a guy for money and he changed everything (address, phone number, email) and now they want to verify that the new information is correct. So that account is no longer usable.

I want to create a new eBay account, with my parents name, and make it legit and legal with real information. I also want to link this to my new PayPal account that has my parents name and has legit and legal information.

My question is, can I create the new eBay account even though I already created one with my IP?

Do you have a dynamic ip? If so you will be 100% fine. As long as you can prove your parents exist, a new account from the same IP would be fine.
 
I guess you can. I suggest that you read their TOS both Paypal and Ebay.
 
If your previous Ebay account had your parents info, you cannot make a new one with the same info. You will get banned again.
 
Breakthecycle is correct. If you use the same information again it will get banned.

On another note one of the easiest way to check if you have an dynamic ip is check your ip whatismyip and the reboot your router/modem. If you get a new ip its dynamic.

Well, the other one only got banned because I sold it to a member here and they changed the information, like the name, the address. Stuff like that.
I want to know if I'll get banned even though I can provide the information they request if they ask for it.
 
Don't listen to the dumb ass's above. I've had many eBay account's with the same information and have never been limited or banned. The retard's above are just posting crap to increase their post count..

How do I know that? How do you know that they are just trying to increase their post count?

Can I just get a definite LEGIT answer around here? The people who've answered in this thread have completely just split the two answers.
 
I've got through at least 4 ebay accounts all with the same details and IP and none of them have been banned, I make a new one every time I get negative feedback and even bid on my own items with accounts from the same IP and don't get banned.

That's not following the rules according to Ebay, just wondering how you're doing it..

You won't get banned, just do it. Rules are made to be broken. If you want to follow rules you shouldn't be here on BHW.

If rules are meant to be broken, then how come everyone on BHW isn't banned yet? How come there are still people with Adsense accounts?
You're just thread-jacking at the moment with your argument and rather telling me to break rules over giving me a liable answer.

Making another user name for ebay and paypal shouldn't be a problem if it's under a completely different name, phone number, SS#, etc. The address can be the same. eBay's and PayPal's system is so advanced now that they can link your old account with the new one. Or at least from my previous experiences.

My paypal account was limited/suspended due to high volume sales during the holidays & withdrawing to the bank too fast. A few days after paypal suspended my account, ebay limited my account as well. Both accounts were opened since 2003. I opened up another account (ebay & paypal) under a relative's info. I even entered a new bank account info (the bank account was under my name). Everything went smooth, no negative feedbacks, no chargebacks or disputes. A few months later, PayPal emailed me saying my account was limited/suspended due to high risk. I called them for an answer, and was told the bank account is under "Jane" whose account was limited/suspended.

If your premier paypal account was limited or suspended, you can open a personal paypal account where you are only allowed to send money. If you open another premier account, then it will get banned again. I'm not sure about the business account with paypal. If anyone knows about the business account, please let me know.

Well, why would it need to be a different name than the PayPal account's name?
I currently have ONE PayPal account with my parent's name (so info. can be given). It also has our address and all that other good stuff. If I create an eBay account with different name than the account I'm linking it to, they're going to be suspicious.
If I create an eBay account with same name, same address, same everything, then they might be suspicious because I already had an eBay account with the same info except it got limited.
I can provide all necessary information now because it's real information.
 
From what I'm understanding is that your old ebay account was under your parent's name. If that is the case, opening up another ebay account under the same parent name will flag ebay's system and they will suspend the account as well. If the old account was in your dad's name, then you can open another under your mom's name or vice versa.

Your paypal account and ebay account doesn't have to be under the same name or account holder.

I'm not sure if we're on the right page. Are you wanting to reuse the old ebay account or trying to undo the limitations on the account? Usually when it gets limited, it's hard to undo. A friend of mine had the same problem, he sent them documents and proof that it was him, and still nothing.
