So I have multiple domains that point to the same website/server e.g.
xyz.com
xyz.net
xyz1.com
and so on...
They all deploy the SAME website.
We have canonicalized the URLs to point back to xyz.com to prevent problems with duplicate content on xyz1.com, xyz2.com etc.
However, the website itself is a single page app - so xyz.com/abc also gets canonicalized to xyz.com. xyz1.com/qwer ALSO points back to xyz.com. And so do a tonne of other pages...
The search console is slowly but surely de-indexing pages with the remark "Alternate page with proper canonical tag", and pointing it back to just user-declared canonical which is xyz.com.
Is there a better way to fix this? Will interlinking help?
This is my first experience with Single Page App SEO so any advice is appreciated.
