need help with a video

Hi there,

I am making a video and I want to have something similar to:

Can anyone tell me what program I need to use to get that layout??
Or what it's called so I can Google it myself

I'm using camtasia to record & edit the vid.

Without seeing the actual video your referencing there and judging only by the screen-shot, it looks like those layers are just pushed back into 3d space, turned on edge and likely animated to fly in/rotate/out/etc. with multiple simple keyframes. Not really a name for the effect, it's not a push button effect... it's just the way they're animated with keyframes.

My best suggestion would be to search for a videohive template similar to the video you have there and simply edit it to your needs. Often times VH-temps will include tutorials on how to edit them, I can tell you firsthand it's difficult to learn to animate things such as that from scratch without having any prior video editing experience, I know it took me quite awhile as I'm sure it has with countless others.

Browse through some VH-temps and find something you like, chances are you can find them with a simple google search.

I also think so. Adobe after effect will do the trick for you. Just study further and try to make changes that are available to do and see you will get your desired output.

Adobe aftereffects or Photodex proshow producer. I would prefer the first though.

it's aftereffects all right , PM me If you want to get it done cheap , otherwise you can try yourself.

I work with both adobe after effects and adobe premiere myself and it will do exactly what you require but it will probably take some time to get used to working with them.

Plenty of tutorials out there that will help you on your way.

I highly recommend taking the time to learn this because most video creators will over charge you for a good sales video or what not. I would advice to start with after effects and leave premiere alone for now.
