I’m launching a new product tied to my work as an instructional coach, focused on helping teachers improve student results using data-driven strategies. I’ve already spoken with a consultant who helped clarify the target audience and an organic approach, but that will take months to validate.

From past experience, paid ads helped me understand conversions much faster and also improved my organic efforts. It’s been a while since I’ve run paid traffic though, so I’m not sure what approach makes the most sense today.

My main questions are:
  1. Does it make sense to start paid ads just to test conversions early?
  2. What platforms or resources would you recommend to get started without overcomplicating things?
Any advice or direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like promoting on FB Ads would fit since it's instructional coaching services/products.

Start simple with one platform and one goal. Don’t try to run everything at once or you’ll burn budget fast.

Paid ads can definitely help shape your organic messaging once you see what converts. Think of it as market research.

If your audience is teachers, social platforms usually work better than search early on, especially for testing.

Keep tracking tight from day one. Even if ads fail, the data you get is still valuable.

Starting paid advertising campaigns just to test conversion rates early on is a reasonable approach.
Platforms or resources: Facebook/Instagram Ads (Meta), Google Search Ads (very effective, but selective), LinkedIn Ads (only if budget allows).

Yes, running paid ads early is smart to test conversions fast. Start simple with Facebook and Google Search for your niche, use small budgets to test messaging, and track results carefully before scaling.

School level: “Elementary,” “High School,” “University”

Yes, start small with paid to test conversions—Facebook/Meta for interest targeting and Google Search for high-intent queries, keep campaigns simple and track everything before scaling.

Good luck, I think UGC content would be great for what you are trying to do based on someone who has zero marketing experience lol. However, I've interviewed a ton of agencies and they all say UGC is what is working best as far as videos. Something that may be worth trying and only cost you them trying your idea for free.

testing with ads is the fastest way to validate, start with fb lead forms to keep it simple.

That's good idea, so focused on your own goal you may succeed as soon as possible

Patience and trust is the main key to a successful achievements, "patience is the to succeed"

Begin with one platform and one clear objective; scaling too fast across channels drains budget and focus quickly unnecessarily early.

go for FB ads to test fast, targeting teachers is easy there and you'll know if it converts in a week.
