Need help with a new fanpage.

Okey so I just got contacted by a affiliate friend of mine. He is getting into the business and wants me to be the test subject.

He promised around 1500-5000 likes to a fanpage of my choice. Real people.

That does sound good, but what should I get into? Since they're not geotargeted nor targeted into an interest, what would my best bet be?

Note: I am horrible with Social Media.

A general like page. Some marketers are able to do well with these, but many also murder pages like this. I'd say you should post useful posts and pictures most of the time and occasionally post a link to an interesting article (on your site) and collect emails off of your site.

Never promote offers (affiliate or CPA) directly to your page though, this is the only sure way to lose a ton of followers.
