i need help with 301 redirect.
how do you do it?
how do i get links from this?
if i have an old domain that is .com
and has a lot of links, but also a lot pages. So the links is spread across the website pages, but the most of the links are in the "mysite.com" and http://mysite.com, the first one has 10k links and different metrics than the second one wich has 20k links and different metrics.
so if i want to extract this links from "mysite.com" and "http://mysite.com", i need to do 2 seperate 301 redirects? And if i want the links that point to other pages on that domain for an example, "mysite.com/dogs.html" i need to a 301 redirect for this one too? so in total its 3 redirects in this case?
And also i dont want to point the 301 redirects to example mynewsite.org/cats.html, i dont to point to my cats page, i want it to point to my domain name, so i get increase DA. And also can i do 3 redirects from 3 different pages from my old domain, to point to my new domain, in other words can my domain name take 3 redirects from the old domain to the exact same place to the new domain(https://www.mynewsite.com) ?
and how do i do it?
the old domain is not running on wordpress, it just sits there in my hosting account. And if i host it, it will be up and running on wordpress, but still i wont see the pages that were created in the past! i will just see the standar wordpress home page. How do i finde the old pages from the experied domain? and how do i recreate them.
And how long does a 301 redirect take place, and when can i see the effects of it, when will i see links showing up in different link explorers. I know that links explorers have their own way of finding links and there is no guarantee that i will see all of them showing up, but still.
