Need Help w/ TOR

Newb question:

So basically I downloaded tor but do not know how to use it really. How do I get it to work with Tube increaser? I assume that once I get tor working, all I will have to do it run tube increaser, but when I check my ip it's still my actual ip.

So basically im asking: how the hell do you use tor properly? lol
