Doing X account for web3 project.

-VPN + No Twitter Blue.
-Been posting original content and clever reply guy stuff, but only 100 follows after 2 weeks.
-All post replies put in probable spam and cant dm people i need to.

Other projects have accounts with 2k-3k followers from day one and are not dumped into probable spam.

1) How are they doing this? Do they buy accounts that already have following, do they buy followers targeted ?
2) I need a boost, it is preventing me from getting seen at all. please give me some tips.

Thank you.

New accounts get flagged easily, while others likely buy aged accounts or followers. Try engaging in niche communities, collabing with bigger accounts, and warming up with retweets before heavy promotion

Some projects buy aged accounts or use paid promotions, so try networking, collaborations, or ads to grow faster.

It’s all about warmup right now on X.

Check your account for shadowban (just google shadowban twitter check) for any of 4 types of ban. Most likely you have ghost ban, so stop replying until the day it gone, could be a week or two.

After that use lower limits, don’t reply too much in a short period of time, let’s say 2 comments per hour should be ok if you are using your phone and 3-6 per day if you are using software.

Residential proxy and 4G mobile proxy is a really good method, never ever use VPN, especially low quality free VPNs.

It's probably cause the account is new so dont get too spammy with your posts. Also, use a proxy instead of a vpn.

yo send me a DM, im also in the web3 space, we can likely help each other

Looks like you’re triggering some auto-moderation, try reducing the frequency of posts and comments for now.

Using vpm risks your account and yess buying account can be helpful but building the account from scratch is better
Post what you want people to know you for
So you won’t get to lose followers

I can understand the struggle with building accounts. Have you tried focusing on organic growth strategies or leveraging niche-specific platforms for better engagement

They likely use aged or pre-built accounts, buy targeted followers, or leverage influencer shoutouts. Boost engagement through consistent posting, collaborations, and trending hashtags to improve visibility.

Sounds like account trust issue — new account + VPN + no Twitter Blue = flagged easily.

Big accounts often buy aged handles, run paid promo, or use network effects.

Tips:

  • Get Twitter Blue for credibility.
  • Engage with trusted accounts in your niche.
  • Post consistently for 30+ days.
  • Consider collabs or shoutouts.

Organic growth is slow without trust signals.

Hope this helps!
