need help uploading a logo

OK this may seem silly, but I'm getting rather frustrated. I've spent lots of time designing great logos but every time I try to upload one to my wordpress site it says it can't because of security reasons. I'm using the Gonzo theme- is that why?

A option is to upload it to your root via FTP and then just do <img src="#"/>

Do you have ftp access? If yes, then upload your new logo with the same name and on the same location as the old logo. Otherwise i don't have any idea...

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm making progress, but I'm getting tired and frustrated so I think I'm gonna go get drunk.

thourgh ftp you can easily did as 1 2 3.
