Need help understanding Youtube+Adsense. It made me ~$10 for 150k views?

Guys, am I missing something?
I uploaded viral video two days ago, the first day it racked ~30k views and 9$ estimated earnings, yesterday I had about 150k views, the estimated earnings in youtube doesn't show anything yet, as it's updating every two days or so, but in google adsense I see that yesterday out of those 150k views on youtube I got only 50k ad impressions(33% of the viewers didn't have adblock or what?). I have earned about $10-11. What the hell? I was reading a lot aobut YT+adsense before and heard that almost minimum CPM I could expect would be 1$, but apparently I get like 0.1 or even less CPM for this video.

Other videos were doing a little bit better, I was averaging $1.6 cpm on my channel before this viral video(I have 7 videos now, started uploading beginning september.). But what's wrong with this viral video? It's a video of an accident that happened few days ago. Yesterday at one moment I was getting ~500 views per minute and was expecting to see some nice numbers in my adsense...

Tonight I have disabled Trueview ads and only left overlay ads on, but it seems it doesn't make any difference?

I would also like to know why performance report in adsense shows like half of the impressions or even less in this viral video case of the actual YT views? Does that mean that nowadays more than half of people have adblocks?

Maybe Adsense dont have proper ads for that specific video or Viewers are just opening the video and moving on.

Just my thoughts.

Try Linking a Website and see if they are really interested in the video or they are just coming to it..

I will add some pictures with stats for those two days to illustrate, so maybe someone can give me and advice or something what is going wrong.

This is day 1(september 28th), I got close to 30k YT views). Estimated earnings and ad performance YT screenshots.

This is day 1 in adsense and day 2(September 29th). Notice day 2 I had ~50k ad impressions when my video received 150k+ views.

I know for sure that it is not engaging content(accident) and the visitors are moving forward after they see it, I just didn't think it was normal to get less than $0.1 CPM even for this kind of content. Also my question is why adsense shows 50k impressions when I got more than 150k views that day? Is this ratio also normal?

It's probably because everybody and their mother has tried the Youtube+Car Crash Dash Cam ordeal, if it's a thread on BHW the method is going to die relatively quickly.

Then again I don't know much about Youtube..

Adsense earnings have been dropping for a lot of folks across the board. Maybe that's just the reality of it.

Earning $1/CPM for most is decent. I've seen more, I've seen less. I find the 1 controlling factor of CPC is traffic sources. If you have different sources for traffic and organic traffic, CPC will be greater

Preach..sir.....Preach

I would suggest there is no hard and fast rules regarding CPM, and your impressions are likely a result of ads not showing on some portion of the videos altogether for a combination of various factors including adblock, no ads available, video closed before ad pops, etc... also internal google/youtube filters may disallow certain ad impressions if they feel the video view was invalid.

There is almost never anywhere near a straight 1-1 ratio of video views to ad impressions. CPM will fluctuate VERY wildly in my opinion based on numbers of factors including traffic sources, niche, and the absolutely uselessness of possible video content posted. Most notably if you are in a niche youtube has identified as a total garbage niche - your CPM will reflect that.
