Hello,

I have no issues with setting up AdWords accounts, but with the advertise / keywords I have.

For example:

I want to Advertise on PRODUCT but it is TRADEMARKED, so I can not use the word in my add text, but I can use it as keyword.

So as keyword I use: PRODUCT

And in add text I use: PRODUC (without T)

But the issue is: it advertise on PRODUC (without T) and not on PRODUCT

how can I trick google to advertise on PRODUCT ?

What is your quality score for that keyword? I would suspect it is quite low because the keyword is not in your ad text. As a result, you may have to raise your bid to compensate.

Also, what type of keyword are you using? If not already, set it to exact match and add PRODUC as a negative.

Hello!

Keyword have 1 million searches every month, account is setup for all countries and languages.

Keyword bid is: 2.49 EUR, there are almost no other advertisers (depending which country).

I will try to add PRODUC as negative and set keyword to exact match!

1. Added [produc] aa negative
2. Made PRODUCT from broad to exact match
3. Increased keyword bid with 2 EUR, now its 4.49 EUR

Traffic still not coming in as I expected... it have 1 million searches last month...

Any other advice/tricks?

What is being recommended as first place bid? Is there anything showing in ''status' to show that your keyword is being restricted? What is your search impressions share showing?

I know AdWords but don't run black hat campaigns through it, so I'm only really asking questions from a white hat perspective. It could well be that you're being blocked from appearing because it's a trademark word/phrase.

Hi, it generated like 10 clicks - 250 impresions.

I think the bid should be way higher? How do you determine the bid? For me its not normal to bid 9 EUR for such key.

Keyword is approved, but my problem is, the word is not in the AD TEXT, thats why the quality is way lower.

Is there any way to manipulate/trick google by putting the word in the Ad text ?

I believe the bid is on a combination of your competitors bid levels and your own quality score. Some sectors have higher bid levels in general as they are highly competitive. However, if your quality score is low, then you will need to bid higher to compete.

Broadly speaking, quality score is made up of;
CTR, relevance of keyword to ad group, landing page quality/relevance, ad text relevance.

You're lacking in ad text relevance, but improving the other areas could help.

I don't think there is a way to manipulate the system here, as I'm sure it's all automated to check for trademarks in ad text.

Try to increase the landing page experience (if it's not "Above average"), thus you'll increase QS. I'd suggest using a single landing page "your product vs Competitor product" that compares 2 products. Your landing page will be relevant, users will see the differences and your benefits against the competitor. Then you can still use your competitor name in Path1 and Path2, I suppose it should increase the CTR. Perhaps your competitor product has abbreviations if there're so many monthly searches, you may use them in ad copies. Check the Auction Insights report, what's your impression share by devices (mobile, desktop) and how many competitors there.

Thank you but i forgot to mention i am doing cloaking, my white hat ads and keywords are not relevant to the TARGET keyword PRODUCT, it is not a blackhat keyword, but all keywords that have something in common with it are prohobitted

Hmm, average bid cost of keyword PRODUC is 2 EUR and my bid is 10 EUR but its still not advertising on keyword producT :@

I would try to add the keyword

[+Product]

Or

+product country
for example

+product germany
+product netherlands

and add

+product germany
+product netherlands

to negative list or like a phrase in negative

"product germany"
"product netherlands"

Try to use geo or singular / plural form

Have you tried [products]?
