I kinda asked this question in my tread but no one would give me any idea of the numbers you should shoot for. Care to give me an idea?
It's hard to say what kind of numbers to shoot for. I'd have to analyze the keyword itself.
If the case is an extremely easy to rank kw. go for it and see how it does.
As for adsense: this is going to be a tough to make a lot if you're targeting one kw exact at 1600.
If you're doing it with adsense this can be you secondary kw, and you'll be okay if you rank. (remember adsense doesn't pay you that ($0.33CPC) That's how much the
bid price is. You get a small percentage of that after google takes their cut. So you could possibly be making $0.05 per click. i've done this before, have
massive traffic at ($0.33) CPC. It was pretty pathetic getting 50 clicks and making $3 or $4... this is where you get of adsense and cpa(must find offer good enough) or infolinks even.
Everyone's level is different and what ladder they climb is going to be up to their "mental" skill level.
I'd say do it if it's just a
subpage for your actual site.
I personally go after big kw's with "low" competition, and also low CPC.
10k+ exacts
50k+ exacts
110k+ exacts
Reason: You can do a lot with that traffic when you rank. info links will pay you bigger than adsense on most of these, but CPA offers will dominate optimized well.
