[Need Help] Starting New Blog

So after getting some basic information and making some money(Thanks to BHW for that) I have decided to start my first blog. I have completed the main part, i.e Content. I have comleted 150 posts for the starting on various topics including health, entertainment, automobile, technology and general topics. It will be general blog. Now I need your help in deciding the final things.

* Domain Name: Suggest some good domain name, I do have some ideas and I am not comfortable with them. A very good domain name, which I really want to take is available, but with .info. Is it good to take .info domain instead of .com?

* Theme: I cannot finalize theme. I want a design that is eye catchy and have good scope for adsense.

* Content: How should I start posting? Should I post all 150 articles all together in starting, or there is any specific number that will be good.

Any Help will be appreciated.

well i suggest just focus 1st in 1 niche and for the article well don't post 150 of them just post 2 -4 a day also make sure this is a unique content that targets your own niche...

also you need to do is...

keyword research
build backlink
SEO
book marking
etc.

and for the tool well there are free tool for BHW here but i suggest you need to invest or buy your own tool such us..

AMR, Scrapebox/Scrapejet Xrummer, Senuke x, etc...

just read method here and it will help you :)
 
For a theme, whites, greys and blacks are always popular colours. Keep it simple. Remember... no matter how much you tweak your site, until you have sufficient search engine/social networking exposure, it will be for naught. You may also want to consider outsourcing some work to fiverr (logos and the like)
 
i would go with a .com domain, for a serious money site always... you dont see yahoo.net or google.net :)

For the theme you can hire someone off odesk for $40 to $50 for a custom

I would start off with 15 articles or so.. and post the rest progressively as you grow
 
For content add 2 a week for a year atleast. Bookmark them to 10 or more bookmarking site..
 
For themes, stay minimal. You can add on later or change. There are a lot of sites to help you with domain name ideas, I like panabee. Good luck!

I dont have any advice to add, but can you post your domain when you get it up and running.. im interested to see what it turns out like

Wait do I really need to do post lots of articles? I just want to sell one product on my website and just post some info of the product and leave it, will that work?

Just stick with HostGator! They are one of the best web hosting companies out there and perfect for nearly any website.
