This is my first time attempting to setup a website with wordpress. What site should I get to use with wordpress and what server would you recommend? Thanks!

What do you mean what site should you get? Hostgator seems to work well for hosting for me. You can also use Godaddy for hosting too if you want. There's a bunch but those are the most widely used.

Godaddy is pretty terrible in my opinion and HostGator is starting to get worse and worse as time goes by. Up to you, but HostGator is better than GoDaddy in my eyes.

You guys are so getting an infraction for recommending hostgator.. just saying.
