Need help regarding Website speed - Google speed

So no matter how fast/expensive hosting i use (Im using the expensive wpxhosting at the moment). I have optimized images, used caching, CDN and other speed enhancements but still my site speed is below average on google search console page speed insights.(its below average on both mobile and desktop version.) even though it is around 98-99 on gtmetrix.

so how do i increase the page speed for google search console ??

You don't. If it loads under ~4 seconds at gtmetrix and under 3 seconds at pingdomtools, you are totally ok.

The same thing happening with my site as well. I can't improve the FCP and FID time of my site.
Waiting for further replies.

I dont think its okay since google considers page speed a major factor in ranking and on GSC the page speed shown is below average :(

Yea right :D

check the speed of all major keyword websites :) None of them will be under 4-5 second speed.

Speed is UX thing, not ranking.
 
check your site in google page speed test tool and gtmetrix. You will see all errors that need to fix on top priority. Let me know if I can help you.
 
I don't care much about page speed in Google Search Console, Bing WMT or Yandex WMT. I only use Google pagespeed insights, Pingdom & GTMetrix to check page speed. If these tools show good speed then nothing to worry about.

Then put adsense on a site which loads in 0.7 seconds.

After you add any basic adsense ad layout your site will load in 3+ seconds,so that's Google want?

Website speed must be done to keep your visitors happy, not the search engines. If you want to keep search engines happy do a clean layout.

Walmart and amazon did big case studies years ago, also many others broke this myth. Do a small research on Google and you will find out.

Google have nothing to lose, but sites as Walmart and Amazon does.

I would recommend digital Ocean hosting + a lightweight theme like generate press/Astra and a cdn like maxcdn or bunnycdn.
I didn't get good results with cloudflare
 
Do a test in GTMetrix, open the waterfall chart and fix every issue one by one.
