Need help redirecting an URL

Hi, I can't manage to temporary redirect a url.com/?lang=es to url.com/es .Seems the instruction is different than for sub directories and html pages.
Can someone help me?

How do you want it redirected? i’d use a simple .htaccess redirect if you have access to the website files

Thank both u for answering. Yes i tried uding htaccess but doesnt work. I specifically tried:

Redirect 302 https://www.domain.com/?lang=ar https://app.domain.com/?lang=ar

It doesnt make sny chsnge and keep going tobtge original page.
