Hi, BHW members,..i have some questions regarding LLC

i have setup my LLC in Delaware , but it has been discontinued the registration over 3 years (never pay the tax after 1st time registered)

my questions are:

1. Will i be able to REGISTER my new LLC without continue my previous LLC ?
2. If NO, how much the fee to continue it ?
3. Is there any legal action will i get if i continue it ?
4. Can 1 LLC has multiple business niches ? (example: in one case i run ecommerce , but i use the same LLC to run marketing service)

i hope you can give me advice & better understanding

thanks for your advice

Yes, but it's always recommended that you formally close businesses that cease operations, because the tax man might come after you if you open and close businesses that doesn't file returns and taxes.

Unless you operated a thriving business and dodged a lot of taxes, you should be able to get the corporation reinstated by filing documents for years you did not file and a filing fee. This is not a big deal, as corporations file and never operate as a business all the time.

There is no law that says an LLC has to operate in one niche. You could operate a SEO service and a restaurant if you with under the same LLC. However, many people find it convenient to separate businesses into separate LLC's, because the whole point of an LLC is LIMITED LIABILIY, so your liability from somebody slipping and falling in your restaurant doesn't touch your assets from the SEO business.
