I was hoping some of you more senior members could help me with something. I have a website, my primary income earner. About 3 months ago i switched over to https and my ranking have gone down drastically for all keywords ever since. I have purchased some link packages from the marketplace and NOTHING has helped. Would anyone be so kind as to do a seo audit on my site and tell me if they see anything that stands out as responsible for the drop and any advice to get the ranks back. The site is strong and I would consider it authority in the niche, It was ranking all terms 1-3 now all terms are like 5-12. Thanks so much.

Hi

Did you put a 301 redirect in place from HTTP to HTTPS version of your links?

Thanks

- Look for redirects - Make sure the www and non www version redirects to the version your're using

how would i go about checking that? the only thing i did was my hosting said they enabled https and i installed and activated the easy ssl plugin.

Make sure your website is accessible via http: https:// and www and non-www versions

it is, if i put in sitename.com it redirects to https, same for www.sitename.com and https.site.com all redirect to https version. So it may be something else going on as to why rankings dipped. Does anyone have access to full verison of arefs, moz, majectic or and site analizers or anything to analyze the site?

PM me your domain and I'll do a quick audit. I've learned a lot over the past months after my site bounced up and down too

It has happened to my site too. After 2 weeks it started comingb ack again. Might just be a normal dip

Have you updated your Google Webmaster Tools to have the sitemap of the correct version of your site? And deleted the old sitemap?

If your website is built on wordpress, then there is a plugin for redirect to http to https. Use that for your website.
