    Hey BHW member,

I am new to SEO. By new I mean, many thing I don't understand. I have a website named A and B.

    website A: main website.
website B: blog where you can use blog comments.

I use ScrapeBox mainly for Comments + Backlinking on website B with link that refer to website A. I hear people say that they will have my website boost or notice within a couple or hours or days.

The problem is here. I hear the term "Ping" and "Indexed". I see a lot of free tools for them in the forum. But I don't know which website to Ping.

Do I ping on my website A or B in order for the crawler to notice the
    backlink?

Do I index on my website A or B ?

I greatly appreciate as many answer for greater understanding.

    Thank you all in advance.

P.S: I know I am ashame by asking question like this

Both of your sites should be "indexed". That simply means that google has it active in its database. You can check for that by typing into google: site:yoursitename.com and see if it shows up... if it does, its been indexed.

You can use this site to help with indexing your websites:

    Code:
    http://www.imtalk.org/cmps_index.php?pageid=IMT-Website-Submitter
    Good Luck!

You should get some social 2.0 sites and link to "A" this will create some strong "B" 's

You dont have to be ashamed of anything cuz you are trying and not just lurking around. Taking action on the methods is the 1st and most difficult step in the process. Congrats! You have done it.

Regarding your question,do not lose focus on either of the sites. Infact, I wont be wrong if i say you give equal attention to both. I just try to keep better and HQ content on site A and spinned content on Site B.

    Hope that helps :)

    I assume that

    • You have Two Sites. Site A and Site B where Site A is your Main/Money Site
    • Site B links to Site A
    • You're building backlinks to Site B through comments with Scrapebox

I'll explain it in Layman's Term

Here Site B is Called Satellite/Buffer Site. You build backlinks to Site B to not harm your money site directly with spammy backlinks.

The Term "Ping" is called Notifying Search Engines about New Content and to "Crawl" the same.

After Pinging Search Engines will visit the Page you Pinged. This is Called "Crawling"

After Crawling the page you Pinged, Search Engines will search and see if the crawled content is already there in its Database. If the Content is New and Unique or if the Page it crawled already has some backlinks, It will put that page in its "INDEX"

The Term "INDEX" is Called the presence of any URL or Content in Search Engine's Database.

Lets Say you search "SEO" in Google. Google Displays 589 Million Results for that Search Term. It Means those 589 Million URLs are Indexed by Google.

If the Page you pinged has duplicate content or don't has enough backlinks or if Search Engines don't see it useful, then it won't index that page.

    1. In order to Notify Crawlers about your Backlink, you shouldn't Ping Your Website A or B. You Should Ping the URLs where your comments are posted with scrapebox. Also you've to check the existence of your backlinks on posted URLs with scrapebox LinkChecker. Cos its no use for your website if you ping the URLs where your website don't have backlinks.

    2. Its not you who Index your Websites. Its Search Engines. So type in the URL of your websites in Google and see if it shows up in results. If you see it in results, then that means your Site is Indexed already.

Thanks you everyone. Especially bezopravin. The explanation has clearly helped me understand a lot of thing about SEO terms.

    I have one last question:

I hear profile backlink are great. If I register an account in a forum. Should I leave the backlink in my profile directly in the signature or website textfield or put it after a couple of days?

    Home Page:
You would Ping the pages of where you placed the backlinks on website B. You can use Scrapebox to do this as well as RSS.
