need help on proxies for managing multiple FB profiles

I'm pretty new to the world of proxies, so please bear with me if my questions are newbie-ish.

I just got Multilogin and Luminati, and my use case is to manage multiple Facebook profiles and business managers.

From what I understand, it's best to use static residential IP for this use case, right? My Luminati rep suggests rotating residential IP though. Can any marketer confirm which is the best option?

I tried both, and the static residential proxy shows the geolocation is Singapore (my country), but the DNS and ISP are both from USA (Altus Communications), and the location changes in Facebook: sometimes it shows New York, sometimes, Singapore, sometimes Unknown. This is frightening me. A recipe for getting banned on FB.

Also, using the static residential proxy, I checked other location-based websites, like 'weather today' on Bing, and it shows Japan, and Youtube goes to Philippines. I may be new but this is a red flag, right?

Also when I check on whoer.net for rotating residential proxy, sometimes the DNS changes to China or Vietnam or India. Does DNS and ISP location matter when logging into Facebook?

Any suggestion for a better and safer proxy alternative?

Mobile proxies > static residential IP > private proxy (datacenter IP) > Geo located rotating residential IP

4G proxies - always - there the most reliable - but not cheap.

+1 for 4G mobile proxies. I run a 4G farm and they are faultless. You wont get any issues with mobile / 4G, you get what you pay for

Thank you for your replies. I am looking up on 4g proxies and on this site https://4gnet.online/ it says the IP changes every 20min. Isn't that not good when running ads? Wouldn't it trigger a suspicious activity flag on FB?

Even rotating proxies might work, but try to target a GEO area so that your IP history looks like a regular user's one.

Naturally, most Internet users have rotating IPs from their ISP (especially from mobile ISP), but they tend to rotate in the same area. So, you can try doing the same thing and target a geo area and always use IPs from this area (city or state).

You can use 4G proxy.

There are many raw 4G proxy sellers on BHW and other places. Do your tests with 4G proxies and see the results

Hey guys, I can't really find any reliable proxy providers for Singapore. the Singapore proxies from Luminati are too inconsistent, sometimes when I login to FB, it shows my current location as New York/Cambodia even though the IP address is Singapore. I'm wondering if this method can work instead: I'll just use Multilogin for the unique device fingerprint, but not use any proxy (use laptop's current IP instead), and I'll only start each browser using a different mobile hotspot or at a fixed location (coffeeshop, office, cafe). I'll keep it to 2 profiles per IP max. Will this work? This is for running WH ads on multiple Business Managers across a handful of profiles (fewer than 10). Is using mobile hotspot similar to 4G proxies?

Yes, the best option is mobile 4G proxies. But, as mentioned above, it is expensive. There is also an option to use regular ipv4. But then you need to use the rule " 1 account - 1 proxy"

Well, besides what everyone is saying, you can still use a residential proxy. In your case I would look for a provider that offers the following:
1. City-scale targeting
2. Dedicated proxies

The first one will allow you to target the city of your choosing, for example New York. The second will help you to constantly maintain the same IP and others won't be able to use it.

Sure such proxies will cost more, but Facebook is difficult, so you can't really go cheap.

Since you're using it for Facebook profiles and business managers, you need proxies with a dedicated access and static location.

If you want to stick with 4g proxies but can't find the right provider, there are threads here in BHW about creating your own 4g proxies and/or developers you can hire to create it for you. Hope this helps.
